The Haro PD (Police Department) series was created to meet the unique and demanding needs of law enforcement everywhere. We collaborated with the law enforcement community and those who serve them in order to create the best, most dependable and affordable series of Police bicycles available in the market today. First Responders face critically dangerous real-world situations that require their equipment to be durable and reliable. That’s why we built our PD series with strong, lightweight alloy frames, agile 27.5” wheel sets and rugged, durable components from the ground up. These aren’t re-decaled mountain bikes (although they certainly know how to climb in the dirt); they’re bikes built to assist their partners in keeping our streets safe while keeping themselves safe at the same time.
The Haro PD2 features a low stand-over frame height with a low center of gravity. It's made from lightweight 6000 series alloy, with a tapered threadless internal headset and internal cable routing, which keeps everything neatly tucked out of the way. It comes standard with an upgraded 2x9 drive train, which is versatile and capable of handling a wide variety of terrain. It glides along on strong U-26 double-wall rims, stainless steel spokes and Kenda Kwick Seven.5 27.5" x 2.0" tires with reflective sidewall for safety. A Suntour XCT-30, 100m fork comes complete with a hydraulic lockout, which deactivates the up and down motion associated with suspension there reducing pedaling energy loss in high speed pursuit sprint situations.
For additional rider comfort the PD2 has an adjustable stem and ergonomic grips. The rear rack, kickstand and toe clips are included:
